Homemade Tortilla sheet


Refined flour - 250 gm

Gram Flour or Besan - 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder - 1 pinch

Chilli flakes - 1 tsp

Oregano herb - 1 tsp 

Parsley chopped - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp

Water - as required to make a smooth dough

Oil to fry


1. Take a clean bowl. Mix all the ingredients. Add water little by little to make a smooth dough. 

2. Using a rolling pin roll out the dough into a thin sheet. Now use a round cutter to cut out small thin round tortillas. Using a fork sharp edges gently make small dents on the tortillas. This is done to prevent tortillas from puffing while frying. 

3. Heat oil in a pan. On a slow flame deep fry the tortillas. 

4. Use the tortillas as required.
