Besan ka Ladoo / Besan Laddu

 
INGREDIENTS 
Besan or gram flour - 1 kg
Ghee - 1 kg
Kaju or cashewnut - 200 gm
Charmgaz - 200 gm
Cardamom powder - 20 gm
Sugar - 2kg
 
METHOD
Heat ghee in kadai. Add besan. In slow flame cook besan in ghee for an hour by stirring continuosly.
Once the colour is light brown remove the mixture in a container and keep in room temperature.
Take a clean kadai. Put the kadai on heat.  Add sugar and 600 ml water. Mix on high heat till sugar dissolves and turns powdery. It will take 20 to 25 minutes. Strain the fine powder in a clean kadai and add the besan and ghee mixture. Add fried kaju and charmagaz. Mix and make ladoos of desired shape.  Store the ladoos in fridge and serve when required.
