Pineapple Halwa

INGREDIENTS

Pineapple whole – 2 each

Ghee – 100 gm

Mawa – 250 gm

Sugar – 200 gm

Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

Cashewnut – 1 tbsp

Raisins – 1 tbsp

GARNISH

Pineapple slices halved – 2

Cherry – 1

METHOD

1.       Peel the pineapple and cut the pineapple into ½ inch cubes.

2.       Heat a pan. Add ghee. Add the pineapple cubes into the ghee. Add mawa and cook for 10 minutes under low heat by stirring continuously.

3.       Add sugar and cook for another few minutes.

4.       Now add cardamom powder and dry fruits. Cook for a minute.

5.       Remove from the heat and garnish with pineapple slices and a cherry and serve hot.
